In rural Pune District, the 3D Program is facilitating a convergent planning process for girls and women by bringing together different government departments, and representatives of civil society and the private sector.
To guide that process, the 3D Program has developed tools and resources to conduct:
- Gender analysis and planning on priority issues for girls and women, such as early marriage, secondary school education and economic empowerment
- Block-level analysis of government schemes and programs and women's experiences of them to assess how schemes are working, successes that should be leveraged and gaps that should be filled to guide district-wide planning
