The journey of the 3D Program for Girls and Women, which began in 2017, is moving into its next phase, led by our Indian partners. Our Washington, D.C. operations closed on August 31, 2021. This website will remain live for a year and then will be archived by the United Nations Foundation. Our work will be taken forward by our partners in India: MASUM, Chaitanya and ICRW, Asia of our rural program, and SWaCH and Kagad Kach Patra Kashtakari Panchayat (KKPKP) of our urban program. We know that our partners will continue to carry the torch and build on the foundation we have created together. Thank you for following our journey and for your commitment to gender equality.

What We Do

To ensure that our work is informed by evidence and best practice, the 3D Program undertakes comprehensive documentation and analysis, translating research and experience into accessible formats to guide planning and convergent action. We are also documenting our own story.

The 3D Program will facilitate the convergence of resources across sectors and stakeholders to deliver evidence-based and demand-driven plans and programs for girls and women. We will also build the capacity and accountability necessary to implement and sustain them.
